History Courses: Most MVEP standard programs can be adapted to college level curriculum as we do our very best to maintain master's level sources and research for each program. Additionally, courses or programs on military history and technology would find the classes on military small arms to be very helpful in understanding the development of tactics and its interaction with technological developments.
Public History Programs: Living history is slowing gaining acceptance as a method of interpretation at most museums and historical parks. MVEP would welcome the opportunity to present a short lecture on living history or even a series of lectures providing an overview of how-to use living history as an interpretive technique. MVEP has experience training numerous interpreters for the Arkansas State Parks and other institutions and may even be able to provide internship experience for public history students. |
